Zeebrugge Beach confirms strong traded volumes
Despite considerably less LNG moving into the market in 2012, Zeebrugge Beach saw its traded volumes rise to the same level as in 2011 (742.5 TWh compared to 769.8 TWh in 2011). With physical throughput about 10% lower y-o-y, churn increased from 4 to 4.5.
Virtual gas trading place ZTP(L): promising start
Launched as part of the new entry/exit regime on 1 October 2012, ZTP(L) showed a promising start. Daily traded quantities amounted to 100 GWh on average during its first quarter. Though modest, these quantities are much higher than those of Zeebrugge Beach and TTF in their early days.
