Your Zeebrugge Hub service provider

Huberator provides access and associated services to the Zeebrugge Hub, one of the leading short-term natural gas markets in Europe. Through our services we secure firmness of delivery for the community of shippers and traders active at the hub.

Huberator currently has 77 members and facilitates both intra-hub and physical trades. 2008 saw a net traded volume among Huberator members of 43.5 bcm and 2009 volumes show keen y-o-y increases.

The Zeebrugge Hub is a so-called physical hub, with natural gas made available from delivery borders in the Zeebrugge area, the nearby LNG terminal or the Belgian market.

Optimum flexibility is the key strength of the Zeebrugge Hub: any gas traded at the hub can either be retraded or shipped through the network of Belgian TSO Fluxys. Through the Fluxys system gas can be delivered into the Belgian market or at one of the borders for onward transmission in any direction throughout Europe.
